10 tips for children’s courses

1. Tip

Online reservation

To guarantee the course you want, book online in advance! Ski courses are in great demand. Since we want to maintain our quality standards, unfortunately no one can be accepted if the courses are full.

2. Tip

Preparation

Come to the ski course well organized and prepared. Prepare your children for the fact that they will be traveling without parents and with ski instructors in the next few days (depending on the length of the course). As an incentive, perhaps you can give the children the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learned on the slopes with their parents on the last day of their vacation.

3. Tip

Take farewell

Bring your child to the start of the ski course on time and we will take over from there. We understand that you naturally want to watch and photograph your little one and cheer them on, but the longer you stay in close proximity, the harder it will be for the child to say goodbye. Based on experience, we ask you not to stay on site for too long to ensure everything runs smoothly. You are welcome to observe your child’s progress from a distance.

4. Tip

Ski equipment

Don’t borrow old ski equipment, because the new materials make the children’s learning process much faster.

5. Tip

Helmet

Children up to 14 years of age are required to wear a helmet during ski lessons. Please take your own helmet with you, or rent/buy one.

6. Tip

Clothing

When it’s cold, please make sure your child is dressed warmly. (Tube, helmet, undercap, waterproof ski suit, waterproof gloves and thermal underwear). Wind increases the cold temperatures, and when it snows, good ski goggles are also essential.

7. Tip

Sun protection

If it is sunny, it is very important that the children are well smeared with sunscreen (high UV factor) and have suitable sunglasses with them. Also give your child a small tube of sunscreen to reapply.

8. Tip

Breaks

Give your child small snacks for short breaks in between.

9. Tip

Lift ticket

Children aged 6 and over need a lift ticket; it is best to get this the day before the course starts. Ski beginners also need a card in our children’s area.

10. Tip

Collection

Pick up your child on time at the end of the course. If you are late, let the ski school know as soon as possible.
